Great blogging goes on in Wales about a whole range of subjects and we want to show it off, hence the Wales Blog Awards.
Our aim is to allow you to nominate blogs you love reading, or indeed blogs you love writing, into the pot to win some great prizes and recognition for your efforts.
Blogs allow people with a passion for a subject to expand on it, become an expert and share their knowledge with others. In some areas of the country they act as community noticeboards, while others are breaking great sports news for all to see.
The Blog Awards will be open for a nomination period – running until 1st September 2011 – after that a shortlist will be presented to our panel of bloggers and media-types who will deliberate before revealing the winners at an awards night on 27th October 2011.
The awards are organised by Media Wales and Warwick Emanuel PR.
